Tub Care delivers and installs Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs across the South West of England. This page explains what's included, where we deliver, how long it takes, and what to expect on the day.

Where we deliver

We currently deliver and install hot tubs across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset only. This is a deliberate choice — we cover the area we know, with the team and vehicles to do the job properly. We do not deliver outside the South West at this time.

If you're unsure whether your postcode falls within our service area, please message us before ordering and we'll confirm in advance.

What's included

Every hot tub ordered from Tub Care includes the following at no extra cost:

  • Delivery to your garden — we bring the spa to where it's going, not the kerb
  • Full assembly and installation — we set it up, inflate it, fit the cover and pump
  • Water filling and balancing — we fill the tub from your outdoor tap, treat the water with the initial chemical dose, and confirm levels are safe
  • Walk-through — we show you how the control panel, app, filter and heater work before we leave
  • Removal of all packaging — boxes, plastic and protective materials are taken away

By the time we leave, your hot tub is bubbling, balanced, and ready to step into.

Delivery timeframes

Standard delivery is typically 5 to 10 working days from order for in-stock models. Some popular models may have shorter lead times; less common models may take a little longer if we need to order them in. We'll confirm your specific delivery window by email or phone within one working day of your order.

Booking your delivery slot

Once your order is confirmed, we'll contact you to arrange a delivery date and time window that suits you. We typically offer:

  • Morning slots (8am–12pm) or afternoon slots (1pm–5pm)
  • Weekday delivery as standard; Saturday slots available on request
  • A reminder text or call the day before delivery to confirm

If you need to change your slot, please give us at least 48 hours' notice where possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.

Before we arrive

To make installation as smooth as possible, please ensure on the day of delivery:

  • The location for the hot tub is decided and accessible (a flat, level surface — paving slabs, decking, or compacted ground)
  • There's clear access from the road or driveway to where the tub will sit (a normal-sized garden gate is fine; we'll let you know if we have any concerns based on your address)
  • An outdoor tap or accessible hose connection is available within roughly 25 metres of the tub location
  • A suitable outdoor power socket (or RCD-protected extension) is available within 7 metres of the tub
  • An adult is present to receive the delivery and complete the walk-through

Not sure if your space is suitable? Message us before you order with a few photos of where you'd like the tub to go, and we'll let you know whether it'll work. We'd rather raise concerns up front than discover them on delivery day.

If delivery can't proceed

In rare cases, delivery may not be able to go ahead on the day. This usually happens for one of the following reasons:

  • The site is not accessible (locked gate, blocked access, insufficient space)
  • There's no suitable power supply or water access
  • The surface is unsafe or unsuitable (severe slope, soft ground, structural concerns)
  • No-one is present to receive the delivery

If we arrive and cannot install the hot tub for one of these reasons, a £75 redelivery fee will apply to cover the second trip. We'll always try to resolve any issues on the day where reasonably possible.

Damaged or missing items

If anything appears damaged on arrival, please tell our delivery team straight away — we'll either replace the affected component on the spot or arrange a follow-up.

Weather and seasonal conditions

We install hot tubs year-round, including through the winter. Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs are designed for outdoor use with Freeze Shield winter protection on most models.

However, severe weather (heavy snow, flooding, very high winds) may occasionally cause us to reschedule a delivery for safety reasons. If this happens, we'll contact you as early as possible to arrange a new slot at no extra cost.

Accessories & consumables

This shipping policy currently covers hot tub delivery and installation only. We do not currently offer separate shipping of chemicals, filters or accessories — if you need any of these, please ask us during the installation walk-through and we'll point you in the right direction.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you'd like further information on your consumer rights, Citizens Advice provides free guidance.
